The Play Therapy Institute of Columbus is a training facility for Counselors, Social Workers, MFTS, and Play Therapists. We strive to provide effective, ethical, and developmentally-appropriate trainings to clinicians of all levels. Trainings specifically designed for beginning clinicians. Indirect hours available for internship dependent on university approval.
Students will learn the fundamentals of sandtray therapy and basic activities to start their journey towards the world of sandtray with clients. 3 hour training.
Students will learn the various types of expressive arts and several activities they can use with clients. 3 hour training.
Many students ask for more activities but, once they get those activities, ask the follow up question "now what"? This training gives that answer. This training provided students with an in-depth understanding of how to process activities they do with their clients. 2 hour training.
